CEMOVIS "kick-off" meeting, Lausanne, June 2004
Aim of the meeting was to
1. inform the participants about the "state of the art" of CEMOVIS (cryo-elecron microscopy of vitreous sections) as it is presently practiced in Lausanne, CH, and to share all relevant experiences from other participants. This has been combined with some technical demonstrations performed in small groups.
2. decide a common strategy for performing the research and the teaching of CEMOVIS.
3. organize the work of the network on CEMOVIS and its use in connection with CET (computerized electron tomography).
All goals of the meeting were fulfilled.
