Final Network Meeting in Brdo, February 2009

The Final Meeting of 3D-EM will take place Feb 9 to 13, 2009 at Brdo estate  in Slovenia.

Kokra Hotel, on the estate, is located in the countryside within the huge Brdo Park, in vicinity of the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana and the Alps. The place is used by the government for major diplomatic events.  (including meetings of the Europena Commission ;-)

Transfer to Kokra Hotel:

Taxis are cheap and recommended.

From the airport (10 km): 10-15min (20 Euro)

From Ljubljana (30 km) 30 min (40-50 Euro)

 

Leisure / excursions:

We plan to offer

- a guided tour to Ljubljana and its picturesque old city

- a tour to the Postojna caves (http://www.postojnska-jama.si/en-index )

 

During February, you may expect snow in Slovenia. Various skiing resorts are within reach, the closest is KRVAVEC, a 20 min ride from Brdo.
